Marcus is building a small network of the local businesses that know a car purchase is coming before the buyer does — one per category, no competitors, and no second of anything. Six have already accepted. If one of the open categories below is yours, the seat is available now and it will not be split.
You already know this. Look at your last ten good customers and count how many arrived because someone they trusted said your name, rather than because of anything you paid for. For most local businesses it is nearly all of them.
Nobody wakes up planning to buy a car. Something happens first. The mechanic says the transmission costs more than the car is worth. The tow truck hauls it away for the last time. A second child arrives and the car seats no longer fit. A household splits in two. A teenager passes the driving test. The people standing at each of those moments hear about the purchase before the buyer has even started looking — and rarely know a salesperson well enough to say a name. This network fixes that, and it sends business back the other way.
What a network does is make it deliberate. Instead of hoping the right person remembers you at the right moment, a handful of businesses who already serve the same families have a standing reason to think of you — and forty-five minutes a month where that actually gets acted on rather than intended.
Every business here was invited personally by Marcus because he already works with them and would put his own name behind them. That is the only way in — there is no application.
Businesses are listed with their permission. A member who prefers not to be named shows only their category.
A referral group that meets and then forgets about each other produces nothing. Privaire runs the month between meetings — prompting where a fit exists, tracking every introduction made and received, and reporting what came of it. You will always be able to see what this seat has produced for you, which is the only honest basis for keeping it.
The seat is exclusive for as long as you hold it. No second mechanic or insurance agent is admitted to Marcus’s network, at any price — and no other salesperson at Harrowgate Motors can invite a business that already sits in his.
The seat costs you nothing. Harrowgate Motors carries the cost of the network, and you come in as Marcus’s guest — what is asked of you instead is participation: 45 minutes once a month, one specific situation brought to the table, and a note of what you receive. Shoutback will walk you through it and answer anything — Marcus is not the one selling this, and he does not receive any part of it.
Not the right fit? Tell us and we will close it out with Marcus so there is nothing awkward. If you know somebody who should hold this seat instead, that is genuinely useful — say so.
